Hello-s. Here's the breakdown on 2012 as promise. It may be boring but I'll try to make it fun and a little sarcastic.
Theories---There are tons of them. You may think: Are these theories formed by people who have nothing better to do after eating their meals? Are they pranksters? Ok, there are indeed come totally ridiculous ideas but these here make sense. At least to me they do.
The theory of "Pole Shift" comtemplated by amateur enthusiasts, reowned psychics and serious scientists. It may occur in the following ways:
1. Global Tsunami(Where? EVERYWHERE)
--Polar Ice Caps Collapse
-Earth's Center Of Gravity Shifts
-Global Tsunami Occurs
2. South-Pole Rollover (And no this is not a trick for you to teach your pet dog.)
--Artic Ice Caps Increase
-Mass Imbalance Tips Earth Over
-Massive Flooding On Entire Planet
3.Slipping The Earth's Crust
--Both The North And South Pole Increase In Size
-Outer Crust Destablises And Slips
-Temperate Areas Freeze As Land-mass Shifts
(I don't understand how it can slip off, but I guess it's something like the second ice age happening.)
Out of these three options, I think Option one is the most possible scenario. Well, I doubt the ice caps will increase in size with global warming. The bad thing is, tsunamis are way more deadly than floods.
And of course, we have information from the Mayans who are believed to have predicted this event to happen on December 21, 2012. PS: They are not a bunch of insane sadists who dream of doomsday every night. They got some stunning architectural works, wrting system similar to hieroglypics used by ancient Egyptians and developed the concept of the digit "zero" with their neighbours independently. If I remeber correctly they were the one who started drinking chocolate, yummy.
The Mayan Long Count Calendar will come to the end of its 5126-year cycle soon. (Man, that's lllooonnnggg.)There isn't any record of what will happen on that mysterious date but it might be the end of mankind.
There's also the Bible Code Prophecy. (If your religon doesn't allow you to believe in other Gods please skip this.) One interpretation of the Bible tells us that God will destroy the Earth by raining down comets in 2010 and 2012. (Comets in 2010 might screw the YOG! Sobs...)
The next one, (Maths haters don't freak you don't have to do any calculations here!) Terence McKenna's Timewave Zero. In the early 1970s, Terence McKenna experienced mind-bending drugs in the Amazon. Later he used a book of Chinese Divination (the I-Ching) to devise a formula known as "Time-wave zero". He says Time will form into tighter and tighter spirals and reach a "Final Time" where the Laws Of Physics as we known it will CHANGE. It was originally set to 17 November 2012 but switched to 21 December 2012 due to a Galactic Alignment due to happen on that day. (Isn't it great that the date changed? We won't get to celebrate our Graduation night otherwise...)
Plus,it has been calculated that the winter solistice Sun will line up perfectly with the invisible line denoting the center of the Milky Way by 2016. (I'm not talking about milk chocolate here.) Rather than doomsday, it is said to bring cnge to human psyche toward a more conscious state. This theory is lot different from the rest but it's not entirely nonsense cause people have researched on it. Of course, most would choose to believe this as few want to have a doomsday.
Last but not least, Solar Storms. (Nope, it doesn't mean heavy rainfalls on our Sun. You must be cracked if you thinking of rain. No offense.) Nearly every 11 years, the number of sunspots reach the peak (solar maximum). Sunspots are giant magnetic storm on the sun, they often appear as dark blotches on the sun. We know this as we can observe sunspots on Earth and if I'm not wrong, there's at least one of them everyday. The next solar max. is supposed to occur in 2012. We'll be doomed if the solar flares penetrate Earth's weakening magnetic shield causing damaging radiation will totally screws our health.
Is 2012 really doomsday? What will happen? How will it all end? No one knows for sure. Sure we can try ways and means to find out the truth and concrete evidence, but there's something else all of us can do.
LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
Yes, stop living life by watching the day go past. Go out and do something. Do some charity work, participate in some marathons, volunteer yourself for some event etc. But that's hard, especially for us students with freaking packed schedules. There are still some stuff with we can do though...
1. Spend more time with your family and friends.
2. Apologise to anyone you've upset or offended.
Ultimately, do your best TO LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS!!!
Yep, I've come to the end of my freaking long 2012 post. I want to hear from you people, use the cBox to post your comments. If you think this is total crap please say so. If I've got any spelling errors whatsoever please say so too.
BE AWESOME COS YOU ARE

Definitely no proper blogging anytime soon.
Going for camp and crammed-full March holidays.
Keep yourself occupied by listening to Goodbye Lullaby.
Yes fellow fans, Avril's back.
Go buy the album or something to support the punk princess.
Mellowing out isn't going to change the quality music she produces.

OH NO, THE WORLD HAS GONE MAD.
School has begun this week, or rather I ought to say that
chaos has erupted this week on Tuesday with an explosion of
Euphoria 2011 to end it all on Friday.
Despite being sorted into different classes, much of 2/1 2010
is still clumped together and have come to the conclusion
that the school has deliberately separated us from one another
with the most incriminating evidence from
Mdm Wong's words about how the class allocation "is not that simple".
We have come up with the possibility that the school has hunted
down all the clique photos on Facebook and
from there began the separation...
Not that I dislike 3/1 2011, but it is intriguing to find out how
the school staff operate in secret.
3/1 2011 is a GREAT class, once we get around to removing
all the awkward moments where everyone tries to appear invisible
when the teacher asks for volunteers or seeks out an answer from the floor.
-Meet the teachers
Class Form/ English/ Geography - Mr Simon Khoo
Chinese - Mr Eric Tay
Maths - Mr Wong
Physics - Mr Ng Wei Da
Chemistry - Mr Leow
Biology - Mr Ivin Chan
Social Studies - Mr Arasu
Literature - Miss Lekie
German - Frau Quyhn (crap, I don't know the right spelling.)
Freaky, why yes.
I'm freaked out myself.
PS : The Odbo is a cosmetic brand in South Korea which sells compact sunblock
and the famous BB cream (foundation + moisturiser + sunblock in one.)
- The class
We have got two Vietnamese scholars, Vy and Viet in our class.
I greatly admire their enthusiasm and gut to volunteer to help out
while everyone else shy away.
There's also Si Li who would proudly tell anyone that her seat is
the best one in class because it has got a fan above it.
We have also got two Brendas in our class, cool.
Plus the ever-so-united Girl Guides : Janis, Jia En, Dian, Amira and
CHEW!!!!...Tai Wen who just got nicknamed "cow" by Janis.
Previous 2/1-ians include Jia Wei, Tai Wen and Gavin,
Hello, we're classmates again!
That's pretty much all I remember about the class for now.
Most unfortunately I can't remember everyone's names
which I will, soon.
- Why it's OH NO, THE WORLD HAS GONE MAD.
1. I was voted for vice-class chairperson.
Thankfully it was only for one day seeing as Mr Khoo decided that
council would already take up enough of my time on the next.
Hence the "Jian Long person", the runner-up in the election
got my relinquished position. But Sofian is still chairman.
2. We doing a 9-month long Bioremdiation project this year,
also known as SRP Part 2. We're supposed to identify and carry out
experiments on a plant to see how it would heal the world, physically.
Finding one to conduct the actual experiment with would be tricky.
We cannot fly to some random deserted island to get our plant,
neither can we be certain that NParks would not complain about us
collecting samples.
3. Sec 4 councillors are stepping down in February!
Crap, I'm not ready to step up!
4. Despite school beginning on Tuesday, I only realised that I was
an OGA on Thursday. Damn my oblivious-ness!
Fortunately everything pulled together and the Orientation programme 2011
ended with an explosive campfire.
K-Pop topped the charts this time round with many classes pulling off
dance routines up on stage.
One class did a particularly hilarious imitation of the teachers in a class play.
Something rather new on campfire nights.

Dinner time at the canteen!
Sec 1s in Yellow Euphoria Tees and OGA/Ls in Annoying Orange Tees!

Class Banner's!
1/1 won the Best Banner!
But these are the only 2 I could get a good shot on from where I was.
My OGA class 1/7 is full of influential people who most of the time
are shy and want to just hang around those they know.
This is rather similar to 3/1 right now.
We will all be fine once we open up.
The question is, when?
Let's make that now.

I'll See You Next Tuesday, Literally.
30 December 2010
This year (2010) is coming to a close...
But hardly anyone is crying out loud over this closure,
thousands are all gearing up for the countdown parties
to usher in 2011 with an unbelievable amount of enthusiasm.
(I'm actually mourning the fact that we're getting older
in less than 365 X 24 X 60 minutes. Perhaps growing up
does have a few perks, well, we'll see.)
Approximately 50 countdown parties will be
held on our tiny red dot tomorrow.
Needless to say, the main event will be at the Float@Marina Bay
and fireworks will joyfully grace the occasion
after the classic " ...3, ...2, ...1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! " .
Those fortunate people on higher grounds such as the Marina Bay Sands
and the Singapore Flyer will have the grand privilege to witness the
beauty of these brilliant flowers at midnight.
Hope that they have fun there. =)
Most unfortunately, trailing behind these hyped up festivities
would be several truck-loads of work.
Yes, school's starting on Tuesday
4 January 2011 after a extra long weekend break.
Secondary 3 life...
I have no idea what are we in for.
Let's just pull each other through those disasters,
and we should be fine.
Have a great time celebrating the start of 2011 !!!
( aka. HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! )
Things may not last, but the memories forged are for us to keep forever.
